Anaxyrus Terrestris, or Southern Toads, are stout toads that are plentiful throughout Florida. They are often confused with the invasive cane toad. Southern toads are nocturnal and come out of their sandy burrows to eat just about anything they can fit in their mouths. Our Southern Toads are field collected specimens.
